Today we're launching the Points Trading Market (/market).

🗣️ Why We Built This

Points have real utility on Pickful: creating a post costs 2 points, creating a topic requires 500 points, and reaching 500 points unlocks VIP status and additional platform features.

Points are primarily earned through likes on your content — that's intentional, to reward quality contributions. But we heard from users that starting at zero, with no existing posts to build on, creates a real barrier.

That's a fair point. The trading market is our response: let users who have contributed and accumulated points pass them on to people who need them.

🏪 How the Market Works

• Any user can list points for sale at a price they set (in USDC)
• Buyers pay directly with on-chain USDC
• Every transaction is settled via blockchain inscription — fully transparent and verifiable
