Hey Pickful community,

Two “under the hood” upgrades today: making Pickful content easier to discover and cite correctly, both in search engines and AI assistants.

Search — structured data + dedicated metadata

• Posts, articles, and book pages now carry JSON-LD structured data, so Google and other search engines can render richer results (author, publish date, summary at a glance)
• Public pages got dedicated SEO titles and descriptions instead of generic boilerplate
• Expanded sitemap coverage so more content gets indexed

AI-crawler friendly — llms.txt + entity metadata

• Added llms.txt, telling AI crawlers what content can be referenced and how to attribute it
• Profile and topic pages now carry ProfilePage / CollectionPage structured data, making it clearer to AI what (or who) a page represents
• Personalized recommendation endpoints are marked noindex/noarchive, keeping crawlers from picking up meaningless transient content
• Added a Cloudflare rule that blocks known bots from /personalize/* outright, so crawl budget goes to the homepage, articles, posts, books, topics, and profiles instead

None of this changes how you use Pickful day to day — but the content you publish will now show up more accurately, with clearer attribution, in both Google search and AI answers.

All updates are live on Web, iOS, and Android — no app update required.
